EMDR Therapy

Developed by Francine Shapiro in the late 1980’s Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy has gained worldwide recognition as an accredited Trauma treatment. Using Bilateral Stimulation through either eye movement or tapping, trauma memories are effectively reprocessed into more adaptive memory networks relieving symptoms of traumatic injury. EMDR is an evidence based treatment which has become a popular and sought after therapy for those who suffer with trauma including PTSD.
