EMDR

Having 11 months of EMDR therapy with Sarah has been truly life changing. From our very first consultation, she created a welcoming and supportive environment, which immediately put me at ease. Sarah clearly explained the EMDR process and outlined what our sessions would involve, providing a structure that I found incredibly helpful and reassuring.

Sarah’s compassionate nature made me feel very safe and heard in our sessions. She broke down concepts into clear, understandable explanations which helped me to understand and process how I was feeling. Where some sessions were more emotionally difficult, Sarah made this feel contained and held. She also helped me to develop tools to use in and outside of our sessions, which I still use now. Through EMDR therapy I have been able to challenge different self-beliefs and manage my anxiety, and my life has massively changed for the better.

Sarah is fantastic at what she does. I am so grateful for our sessions and what they have done for me. I didn’t think that I could get to this place now, but with her help, I have. Thank you!

EMDR

“Prior to working with Sarah I had vagus nerve dysfunction which left me in a very poor physical and mental state. I had tried therapy in the past which never worked for me, I realise now that the core beliefs were never addressed l, only the coping mechanisms I had picked up to be able to manage the pain. After several months of EMDR therapy i was able to understand how the root cause of my problems had been affecting my everyday life over and over. I clearly had been avoiding this for many years, it should have come as no surprise that my body was screaming no more. It can be a tough process but a necessity to face your fears to be able to move forward.

I am both happy and sad today, as after 15 months of therapy I was ready to say goodbye to Sarah.  Happy because I am going forward in life as a whole different person. Able to manage my emotions and let go of the past. Sad because I will miss her.  She is such a special person who knows how to get the best from her clients, in a kind and supportive way.

“I have completed a 12 week course of EMDR therapy with Sarah. I found Sarah’s approach from the start friendly, professional and compassionate. Sarah’s flexibility with appointments and fees meant that I could complete the full 12 sessions consecutively and get the full benefit. Sarah created a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space that allowed me to be open and honest without anxiety. All the sessions were online and this worked really well. “With Sarah’s support over the last 2 months, I have started feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally much, much, better. I have generalised anxiety and prior to working with Sarah, it was affecting me very physically with stomach pains and panic attacks – both of which have subsided. Before we started working together, I did some tests and she asked me lots of questions to discover my history before setting out a treatment plan, which made me feel deeply understood and listened to.
